HYDERABAD: Four persons, including an ECIL employee and an engineering student, died, while three others suffered injuries in three separate road accidents in the city on Sunday.

In the first incident, 21-year-old Runal Yadav, a B Tech II year student of Jagruti Engineering College in Ibrahimpatnam, died when his two-wheeler was crushed between two RTC buses at Sweekar Upkar junction in Secunderabad on Sunday evening. When the mishap occurred, Runal along with his friend Rajesh Kumar of Kanojiguda was going towards Paradise from his house in Trimulgherry. At the Sweekar Upkar junction, the traffic light turned red at 4.45 pm. An RTC bus in front of Runal's scooter stopped at the signal and he also stopped just in time behind the bus. However, the driver of an RTC bus (AP 29 Z 2149) behind the youngster failed to apply brakes in time and the heavy vehicle of Jagityal depot rammed into Runal's scooter.
